Promoting inclusion

Promoting inclusion

The Australian Government values contributions from all people in Vanuatu. It seeks equity and participation by men, women, people with disabilities and people living in all provinces.

Applications for Australia Awards are encouraged from all suitably-qualified individuals working or studying in priority areas and who meet the eligibility requirements.

People with a disability

If you identify as having a disability, you are encouraged to highlight this on your application form. For additional support, please contact our team and we will meet with you to determine what support we can provide.

People with disabilities will not be disadvantaged. The information provided will be used to ensure equal opportunity throughout the entire scholarship experience.

All applicants are required to meet the eligibility criteria and are assessed in line with the objectives and priority areas of Australia Awards Scholarships in Vanuatu. The Australia Awards team will ensure any barriers for people with disabilities are removed, however the selection criteria are consistent for all applicants.
