IELTS Preparation
Short-listed applicants are required to sit the IELTS Academic test, which assesses English language proficiency across four components: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Please note that English language score requirements are non-negotiable. All Australia Awards Scholarship awardees must achieve an overall Academic IELTS score of at least 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0. IELTS Familiarisation test (only relevant for Computer testing)
https://ielts.idp.com/about/ielts-familiarisation-tests
The Official IELTS Familiarisation test allows candidates to see what the software is like; the type of questions they might see in the real test and remove stress for those who might be anxious about doing the IELTS test on Computer instead of Paper.
Future candidates are also able to submit the test and check that the answers are correct, giving a general estimate of the platform and of the performance. Those tests are untimed, so unlike in the real test, this allows to spend as much time as necessary
